My parents have taught us to eat western food ever since we were small as we lived in England for 4 years. The consequence from this upbringing is we prefer western food compared to traditional Malay cooking especially my lil brother. He would detest any Malay food particularly rice. More often that not, my dad has to prepare his favorite which are Chicken Chop & Mash Potatoes.
Born & breed with western food, I am better in preparing this sort of meal compared to local delicacies. Tapi husband budak kampong. Yikes… So today, I’ll share my dad’s recipe in preparing this simple main dish.
